OPORA Public Network published the results of survey “Open data development in Ukrainian regional centers” which was held in December, 2016 together with Techsoup under the “Data Bridge/Apps4Cities” project.
OPORA examines regional centers for complying the Law "On access to Public information". Attention focuses on open data in Ukrainian cities, which can be used to create services for citizens, businesses, and improve the quality of governance.
Research shows, whether local government placed their data on data.gov.ua or not, and if placed, in what format; told about nonexistent e-tools and status of e-government development in each city. OPORA also developed 5 tips for local authorities for high-quality implementation of e-governance and open data.
