On November 8, on the Portal of the Government was published the information about the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Approval of the Concept for the Development of Electronic Democracy in Ukraine and the Plan of Measures for its Implementation". Before this, the draft document was approved by the Government Committee under the heading of Stepan Kubiv. According to the order, the main tasks of the first stage of the Concept (2017-2018 years) are the formation of regulatory and legal support; ensuring the availability of e-democracy tools; increasing the readiness of state authorities, individuals and legal entities to use the opportunities that e-democracy brings; resource support, implementation and application of e-democracy tools by the authorities. The resolution also included a recommendation to local governments, institutions and enterprises belonging to the communal property form, to develop their own plans of measures in accordance with the Concept of the development of e-democracy in Ukraine. The document was developed by the Coalition for the Development of Electronic Democracy in Ukraine, namely the State Agency for E-Governance in Ukraine and more than 15 NGOs, including the "Podolian Agency for Regional Development". This document fulfilled the commitment of Ukraine № 13 within the framework of the international initiative "Open Government Partnership", which includes 75 countries of the world.
